Student - Content Creator, Communications

Do you have an interest in photojournalism, social media, or news writing?

We are looking for photographers, videographers, writers, and social media wizards to assist us in creating content for social media, the Ursinus website, and general marketing materials. Students must have an eagerness to create, learn, and grow. All content you produce can also be used in your professional portfolio!

We are primarily looking for event coverage, Ursinus beauty shots, and general campus life candids.

These are paid positions and will consist of anywhere from 2-8 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities:

• Capture photo and video (short-form & long-form) content of events and campus life, be shared on social media and the Ursinus website.
• Work closely with the Digital Communication Specialist and the Social Media Coordinator to plan the budget and event coverage for the week.
• Produce, edit, and deliver content in a timely manner.
• Assist with higher priority video and photo shoots. 
• Occasionally write accompanying stories for the online news hub. 

Requirements:

• Current full-time student at Ursinus College.
• Interest in photography, videography, or journalism.
• Eagerness to create and grow your own personal portfolio.
• Good communication skills. 
• Availability to cover various campus events.
• Knowledge and experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras.
• Preferred: Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Lightroom, Premiere, Photoshop, etc.)
