    A vacancy currently exists for a Vocational Support Specialist within the Division of Career, Technical, & Customized Education Services at the Chester County Intermediate Unit. This position will be based at the Technical College High School Brandywine campus located at 443 Boot Road in Downingtown, PA.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Experience working with secondary students preferred
    • Experience in Career & Technical Education preferred
    • MVR check and approval to drive school vans based on school policies
    • Current police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required
    • Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and the federal government (conducted by the CCIU upon hire)


    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and manage work-based learning opportunities including internships, job shadows and field trips.
    • Plan support career-related field trips and guest speakers.
    • Maintain accurate data and documentation for student experiences.
    • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding WBL expectations and opportunities
    • Coordinate and deliver classroom instruction pertinent to career and technical skills in conjunction with classroom teachers.

    Salary Range:
    $46,113.85- $57,641.54 (Project, Band 13 - 10 month, 200 day position)

    * Placement on band based on experience in an equivalent role. 

    Schedule:
    Monday through Friday, 7.5 hours/day.
