This is a succession plan search as the incumbent is looking to step out of the role due to approaching retirement plans.
Position SummaryTheVice President of Sales, Marketing & Sustainabilityis responsible for establishing and coordinating all department strategies, plans, programs, and functions, overseeing the Sales, Marketing & Sustainability team members. The role is based at the company’s corporate office in Elkhart, Indiana, reporting to the President.
Duties & Essential Job FunctionsLead the definition and execution of company growth objectives, including customer acquisition and geographic expansion.
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, including pricing, customer service policies, and communication channels.
Oversee new business development activities, including lead generation, opportunity tracking, and closing strategies.
Create marketing action plans with clear objectives and goals to target opportunities.
Drive strategies to position EFP as a leader in environmental sustainability, focusing on the circular lifecycle of EPS and commercialization of sustainable alternatives.
Supervise the Sales, Marketing & Sustainability team, including the Director of Sales - Protective Packaging, Sr. Director - Cold Chain Business Segment, Director of Sustainability, and Marketing Manager.
Ensure team members have the necessary tools, training, and development to succeed.
Analyze business performance through sales reporting, margin analysis, KPI tracking, and competitor analysis.
Engage directly with key account stakeholders to foster relationships and support business growth.
Travel frequently, including driving and air travel, approximately 25% of the time.
Perform other duties as needed to support business objectives.
Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field, with extensive sales leadership experience in manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Master’s degree preferred.
Proven success in high-growth manufacturing environments.
Experience in hiring and developing sales teams.
Exceptional relationship-building skills.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
