ANEWAY FOR PURPOSE is a non-profit dedicated to create jobs and social programs for people with special needs. We run an entertainment venue, Game On State, a unique, family-friendly and inclusive arcade, candy store and event space located in the heart of Media, PA. We offer a nostalgic yet modern atmosphere with classic arcade games, pinball machines, kids parties and BYOB parties. We’re looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Specialist to help us elevate our online presence, engage our audience, and showcase the fun of Game On State across various platform, as well as help us promote our mission of job creation for people with disabilities.
Position Summary:
As a Social Media Specialist, you will develop, curate, and post engaging content on Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical skills, and a passion for social media trends. You will work closely with our management team to develop and post social media content that builds our brand, promotes events, and engages our community.
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality, engaging, and brand-consistent content (videos, photos, graphics) for Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure regular posting and alignment with upcoming events and promotions.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries, fostering a sense of community.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm new content ideas
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Canva and social media platforms (Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram) and knowledge of each platform’s best practices.
- Excellent photography and videography skills, with the ability to edit photos and videos for social media.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
