Social Media Specialist
Heirloom Cloud Corporation seeks Social Media Specialists to implement the company's social media strategy. Duties of the Social Media Specialist include creating and updating social media posting schedules, replying to comments from subscribers, and coordinating with other professionals to determine how to market the Heirloom brand and its products or services using social media. Includes creating and updating video content, comments, and schedules. The Social Media Specialist reports to the Social Media Manager. The Social Media Specialist is friendly, customer focused, and motivated to promote the Heirloom brand.
Responsibilities
- Follow conversations on the internet and social media platform while interacting with the public
- Monitor trending hashtags, topics, and videos, incorporate information appropriately into brand
- Collaborate with people and marketing team to create captivating posts using copy, graphics, and video
- Write long-form and short-form social media descriptions to accompany video and attract new uses or engage current users
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Connect with other social media professionals/influencers to create a strong brand appropriate network
- Use analytical tools such as Google Analytics to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance
Skills
- At least one year of working experience with social media or digital marketing
- Proven experience with creative software, Adobe Suite a plus
- Proven experience with collaboration software, Google Workplace a plus
- Proven experience with CRM software, HubSpot a plus
- Proven experience using Google Analytics and other data analytical tools
- Appreciation for guerilla marketing tactics and grassroots campaigns
- Flexibility to work on a rapidly evolving schedule
- High school diploma or GED required.
