Austin's Auto Service in Bethlehem, PA is looking for a service advisor/writer to join our strong team. We are a high volume car repair shop looking to hire a dedicated team member. The Service Advisor is responsible for selling, identifying and documenting service, maintenance, and repair service for customers as well as being responsible for scheduling service to be performed. We are located on 1843 W Broad Street. Our ideal candidate either female or male is attentive, ambitious, and engaged. Excellent customer service skills are a must!
Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities:
- Greet customers during the day for service needs, including drop-offs, walk-ins, and wait appointments
- Do all necessary paperwork for each customer, from the write-up to the closing bill
- Enters itemized estimate on service order and explains estimate to customer
- Acquire pre-approval for services needed before work, either in person or over the phone
- Communicate with technicians about customers’ needs or concerns
- Answer phone calls to schedule service appointments or talk to customers about service needs or concerns
- Follows Safeguards rules and regulations
- Follow up with parts department on special order parts
- Other related duties as assigned
Automotive Service Advisor Pay:
- Competitive pay starting at $18/hour based on performance + commission
Automotive Service Advisor Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
