Purpose

As Senior Manager of Marketing Communications, this position is the architect of our voice across every channel, driving interest, engagement and action. This is a role for a strategic thinker who also happens to love the craft—someone who can spot the core message in a sea of detail, translate it into language that resonates, and carry it through from planning to execution.

The Senior Manager owns the planning and delivery of communications that elevate our brand, engage our audiences, and support commercial success. From sales tools to thought leadership, PR to social media, this role ensures every deliverable is clear, consistent, and on brand, collaborating closely with colleagues in marketing, sales, and leadership to bring our value proposition to life in a way that resonates. As a champion of an audience-first approach—starting with objectives, not tactics – the Senior Manager ensures our message always lands with impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes integrated marketing communications plans across multiple channels and formats—sales collateral, web, events, decks, thought leadership, PR, and social media.
  • Amplifies ideas so that one-off tactics can become surround sound campaigns.
  • Prioritizes the air waves so we focus on the messages that matter, doing fewer things better to drive outsized impact.
  • Leads PR strategy and execution, collaborating with stakeholders to identify story opportunities, draft press materials, manage outreach, and cultivate media relationships.
  • Collaborates with executives to shape their voice in thought leadership content, presentations, and key internal or external communications.
  • Drives content calendars and campaign execution across owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Measures performance and continuously optimizes messaging and formats.
  • Partners with designers, freelancers, and cross-functional teams to bring content to life.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in marketing communications, PR, content, or brand roles—preferably in B2B or healthcare sectors.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills—able to simplify the complex and drive engagement.
  • Experience leading multi-channel communications plans and content calendars.
  • Demonstrated track record of producing high-impact content across sales, digital, PR, and events.
  • Experience driving content across multiple touchpoints, not just contributing to them.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent skills in MS Office suite (Work, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, etc.) 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting sales enablement or commercial teams.
  • Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, CMS, etc.
  • Comfort with AI tools and willingness to experiment.

Work Environment

This position works in a professional home or office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This role requires occasional travel (<15%), such as photo/video shoots and industry events.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Visual acuity is necessary for tasks such as reading and working with various forms of data on a screen.
