Summary:
The Senior Director for Regional Communications serves as an integral part of the Penn Medicine Communications Department leadership team, serving as leader of a team of professionals managing both internal communications and media/external relations for Lancaster General Health, Chester County Hospital, and Princeton Health. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Communications, they will provide senior-level communications planning for key institutional initiatives requiring employee awareness and engagement, and counsel for media matters, including crisis communications. They will lead work with regional hospital entity senior leaders to identify key programmatic areas of focus to capture the attention of, and drive engagement with, internal audiences, regional media, and community and governmental partners and constituents. The Senior Director for Regional Communications will oversee the Associate Director for Community & Regional Communications and a team of geographically disseminated, regional communications professionals, and work in close concert with the Communications Department's senior directors as well as Marketing colleagues to ensure cohesive strategy development and implementation across all domains of the system's Communications portfolio.
