Senior Copywriter – Market Access

Role Description:

 

The Senior Copywriter - Market Access expertise plays a pivotal role within the Creative Department at TJP. In collaboration with senior team members, this individual is responsible for crafting persuasive, engaging, and medically accurate copy that communicates critical market access and patient-centric messages. With a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare industries, the Senior Copywriter creates compelling narratives that support brand positioning and drive customer engagement. The role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities who can translate complex market access and healthcare topics into clear, impactful communication.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and write high-quality, compelling copy that reflects market access strategies, patient engagement, and healthcare initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create targeted messaging that resonates with healthcare professionals, patients, and key decision-makers
  • Translate complex medical, scientific, and payer information into clear, persuasive, and accessible copy tailored for diverse audiences
  • Stay informed about market access trends, payer dynamics, reimbursement policies, and healthcare industry developments
  • Create content that adheres to brand guidelines, industry regulations, and client-specific requirements, ensuring consistency and compliance
  • Conduct in-depth research to support the creation of relevant, accurate, and effective market access content
  • Demonstrate proficiency in SEO and digital marketing practices, ensuring optimized and impactful content for digital platforms
  • Work under tight deadlines to deliver high-quality copy across various channels, including print, digital, social media, and patient communications
  • Contribute to the development of innovative ideas and creative concepts to support brand strategies and market access goals
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to refine and finalize content, ensuring it meets business objectives and brand voice

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of copywriting experience, with a focus on pharmaceutical, healthcare marketing, or market access communications
  • Proven portfolio of successful copywriting campaigns, particularly in the healthcare or market access sectors
  • Strong understanding of market access concepts, payer strategies, reimbursement landscapes, and patient access issues
  • Expertise in creating content for both HCPs and patients, with the ability to tailor messaging for each audience
  • Familiarity with healthcare marketing regulations, such as FDA guidelines, HIPAA, and other industry-specific rules
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, and content management systems
  • Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into digestible and compelling narratives
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and brand voice consistency
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining high-quality work
