The Monell Chemical Senses Center is seeking a Sales & Marketing Data Intern for Summer 2025 to support the development of a structured sales and marketing program for Monell’s Insiders Program, a corporate membership initiative. This paid internship will last up to 10 weeks and provide hands-on experience in customer relationship management (CRM), data organization, and marketing analytics.
The intern’s primary responsibility will be to assist in updating and optimizing Monell's CRM database (Insightly) to enhance tracking, reporting, and analysis of marketing efforts and conversions. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in business strategy, marketing analytics, or CRM systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Use Insightly (or a similar CRM) to develop and refine a system for tracking marketing outreach, engagement, and conversion metrics.
Assist in organizing and analyzing corporate membership data to improve Monell’s sales and marketing strategies.
Support data entry, cleaning, and validation efforts to ensure CRM accuracy.
Collaborate with the executive team to generate reports on marketing performance and membership trends.
Conduct research on best practices for corporate membership sales and marketing.
Provide general administrative support as needed.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field (or relevant experience/interest).
Comfortable working in an office environment with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proactive, highly organized, and able to work independently.
Experience with CRM systems (Insightly preferred), data management, or marketing analytics is a plus but not required.
Data visualization skills are a bonus.
