Position Summary

The Registered Dietitian (RD) will serve as a leader in nutrition services, supporting residents’ dietary needs, compliance with regulatory standards, and collaboration with dining services. This role also plays a key part in marketing and outreach efforts, working closely with the sales and marketing team to highlight the community’s dining program as a unique differentiator for prospective residents and families.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Nutritional Support

  • Provide nutritional assessments and individualized care plans for residents.

  • Ensure menus meet resident needs, preferences, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Collaborate with culinary and care teams to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals.

  • Provide staff education and training on nutrition and dietary standards.

Marketing & Outreach

  • Partner with sales/marketing teams to showcase dining and wellness programs during tours, events, and open houses.

  • Host presentations, cooking demos, and wellness/nutrition workshops for prospective residents, families, and referral partners.

  • Develop engaging marketing content (blogs, newsletters, social posts) highlighting nutrition, dining, and wellness.

  • Act as a visible ambassador of the community’s dining and nutrition excellence.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Dietitian (RD) credential (CDN/LDN if applicable by state).

  • Experience in senior living, healthcare, or long-term care preferred.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Interest or experience in marketing, community outreach, or event planning.

  • Passion for improving quality of life through food, health, and wellness.
