Recruitment Marketing Manager (Performance Marketing)
Overview
This role is a key driver of GHR’s candidate acquisition strategy, focused on performance, precision, and optimization. The ideal candidate thrives in data, lives inside campaigns, and brings a relentless focus on improving results in a complex and agile business organization. They ensure our recruitment marketing investments perform at their highest potential — and that the business has the insights to keep evolving. This is a behind-the-scenes role built for someone who prefers the numbers over the meetings, and strategy through execution over stakeholder management.
Core Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end campaign management and performance monitoring across all recruitment business lines — optimizing for KPIs tied to revenue impact and spend efficiency.
- Budget Optimization: Identify opportunities to maximize the efficiency of sourcing budgets and campaign groups by uncovering and acting on hidden cost savings and performance improvement levers.
- Job Ad Performance & Visibility: Optimize job postings for SEO and develop best practice guidelines. Continuously test and refine SEM strategies based on third-party platform algorithms to improve job ad visibility and reach.
- Be the internal expert on sourcing channel effectiveness — analyzing trends, identifying opportunities, and implementing data-backed optimizations.
- Define and track channel-specific performance goals; monitor pacing, conversion, and ROI across platforms.
- Alert appropriate parties and job posters of any essential information – in real-time.
- Partner with IT to design and maintain reporting infrastructure — enabling automated dashboards and clean, actionable performance data.
- Build, maintain, and enhance integrations across sourcing platforms (e.g., job boards, programmatic tools, paid search, and social advertising platforms).
- Support the development of logic and data flow for full-funnel visibility into candidate acquisition — from first click to placement.
- Serve as a strategic technical liaison between the recruitment marketing function and IT, guiding the development of data infrastructure, reporting, and automation solutions that align with marketing processes and business needs
- Scope and support technical initiatives (e.g., implementing source tracking, guiding system mapping) by translating marketing requirements into technical specifications while IT handles backend implementation.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the market.
- Conduct ongoing audits of source tracking and data integrity; resolve attribution gaps to drive smarter investment decisions.
- Recommend and run controlled tests (e.g., A/B, targeting, keywords, bidding) to validate new campaign strategies before broad implementation.
- Short-term, interim support (~<20% of role): Assist with ad hoc email marketing campaigns while the marketing automation function is being developed. Responsible only for light execution and basic performance tracking; not expected to build workflows or automation strategy.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in performance marketing, such as Google Ads, Meta, and Bing Ads— ideally in a recruitment or staffing setting.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of various digital advertising platforms and tools (e.g., marketing automation, CRM, configuration techniques, reporting)
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel).
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. Knows how to strategically and effectively navigate complex and diversified sourcing strategies leveraging niche insights and pursuing hidden cost savings.
