We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting both internal and external marketing initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Position Summary

This role will provide hands-on experience supporting both internal and external marketing efforts.  The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas, a passion for storytelling and a willingness to collaborate across departments and locations.

Position Responsibilities

• Supports internal communication efforts, including employee updates and engagement initiatives
• Assist in the development of external marketing content such as articles, social media content, and marketing materials
• Ensure brand consistency across all communications and platforms
• Capture and curate photos and videos from events and daily operations for marketing use
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute fresh, creative ideas
• Conduct market research and assist with data collection to support strategic planning
• Perform administrative tasks related to marketing projects and documentation
• Assist in the scheduling, deployment, and publishing of content across social media, employee engagement platforms, and marketing materials
• Help identify potential prospects and contribute to marketing campaign targeting
• Support special projects and ad hoc marketing initiatives as assigned

Required Education and Skills

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Proactive, flexible, and eager to learn and grow through ongoing education and development
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate ideas clearly and logically

Typical Physical Demands:  

Must be able to work a minimum of 8 hours per day on a regular basis.  Requires additional hours of work as required per workload of position and department.  Requires prolonged periods of sitting.  Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.  Regularly uses a telephone for communication. Uses office equipment such as copier, and fax machines. Requires prolonged periods of monitoring computer screens and displays Utilizes a variety of hand positions to repetitively manipulate keyboard and mouse.  Position requires occasional, prolonged periods of standing and walking distances of up to 2 miles in a manufacturing facility. Job is fast paced and the ability to deal with stress is essential.

Typical Working Conditions: 

Primarily works in an indoor office environment. This environment is typically temperature controlled and clean, with normal air contaminants, such as dust, typically found in an office environment.  Position requires occasional exposure to manufacturing environment with exposure to loud and prolonged noise.  Noise exposure is constant, which includes the noise of machinery and overhead cranes.  Noise exposure also includes frequent and extremely loud changing sounds caused from metal tubing banging against each other during processing.  All employees are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include noise/hearing protection and safety glasses with side shields while in the manufacturing facilities.
