Job Summary

The Marketing Programs Manager, Shared Services serves as a centralized marketing resource supporting portfolio companies through the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing initiatives. This role partners with company leadership, business stakeholders, and marketing teams to transform strategic objectives into integrated marketing programs, campaigns, events, content, digital initiatives, and communications that drive measurable business results. This role will manage multiple priorities across diverse industries, audiences, and market segments while maintaining strong project management, execution discipline, and performance tracking.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Strategic Marketing Support
    • Partner with portfolio company leaders to understand business goals, target markets, and growth priorities
    • Translate company marketing strategies into actionable programs, campaigns, and initiatives
    • Provide marketing guidance and execution support across multiple portfolio companies and business units
    • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and align activities with organizational objectives
  • Campaign and Program Management
    • Plan, manage, and execute integrated marketing campaigns from concept through completion
    • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
    • Coordinate multiple concurrent marketing initiatives while balancing competing priorities
    • Ensure all marketing activities are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with business goals
  • Digital Marketing and Content Development
    • Develop and manage digital marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, website updates, social media programs, and online advertising efforts
    • Create, coordinate, or oversee the development of marketing content, collateral, presentatives, case studies, and customer communications
    • Ensure consistency of brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels and portfolios
    • Support search, lead-generation, and customer-engagement initiatives through targeted content and digital campaigns
  • Events and Communications
    • Plan and support trade shows, conferences, webinars, industry events, customer meetings, and other marketing programs
    • Develop promotional materials and communications to drive participation and engagement
    • Coordinate internal and external communications related to marketing initiatives and company announcements
    • Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, and post-event follow up activities
  • Cross Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with sales, business development, operations, and executive leadership teams to support business objectives
    • Facilitate communications among stakeholders to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned and executed effectively
    • Serve as shared-services marketing resource across portfolio companies, adapting to varying business needs and audiences
  • Analytic and Performance Measurement
    • Monitor, track, and analyze marketing campaign performance and key performance indicators (KPIs)
    • Prepare reports and dashboards that measure marketing effectiveness and business impact
    • Provide recommendations for campaign optimization and continuous improvement
    • Use data and insights to inform future marketing strategies, investments, and program priorities
  • Administration and Operational Support
    • Maintain marketing calendars, project documentation, and campaign records
    • Track budgets, invoices, and vendor expenditures related to marketing activities
    • Ensure marketing processes, tools, and systems are used consistently across supported organizations


Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, advertising, or related field
  • 4+ years or progressive marketing experience, including responsibility for digital marketing, media, campaign execution, communications, or related marketing programs
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns (including digital, email, social media, content, paid media, and/or events
  • Strong understanding of digital media, audience targeting, campaign optimization, and performance measurement
  • Experience using analytics and marketing performance data to evaluate campaigns and recommend improvements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate business objectives into executable marketing activities
  • Strong project-management skills with demonstrated ability to move initiatives from concept through execution and measurement
  • Comfortable working directly with sales, business development, executives, subject-matter experts, and external partners

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience working in an agency, medica, technology, B2B, professional-services, or other multi-client/multi-business environments
  • Experience with Google Analytics and digital advertising/measurement platforms
  • Experience with email marketing, content/blog marketing, digital media planning, paid media, and campaign optimization
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing-automation platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or comparable systems
  • Experience developing marketing dashboards and reporting campaign performance, conversion, pipeline, and ROI
  • Experience supporting events, webinars, product/service launches, or integrated campaigns
  • Exposure to technology, cybersecurity, managed services, government contracting, public-sector markets, or B2B services
  • Experience coordinating agencies, designers, freelancers, media partners, or other external resources

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Ability to travel periodically among company offices, customer/partner events, conferences, and other business locations
