Marketing Manager- Strategic Programming
Full-Time Administrator (Level 15)
Salary Range: $58,000 - $65,000 (Annual salary is commensurate with experience)

Position Reports to the Director of Strategic Communications

Basic Purpose:
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Communications, the Marketing Manager for Strategic Programming organizes assigned marketing efforts for select College units and initiatives including but not limited to the Montgomery County Community College (PA) Legacy Fund, Montco Cultural Center, the Hospitality Institute, and the Mix Room at Montco.
This role supports the execution of tactics across key functional areas, defining scope, budget, project plan and deliverables for all assigned units. Responsibilities include project management, communications, content development, client relations, email marketing, direct mail, annual appeals, editing/proofing and the management of print/mail vendors.
This position will be based at the Blue Bell Campus with the marketing manager also working at the Pottstown Campus as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the marketing lead between the Strategic Communications Team and the College’s Office of Institutional Advancement
- Under the direction of the Director of Strategic Communications, works with the Office of Institutional Advancement team and additional assigned units on the planning, development and creation of all related content for marketing and communications collateral to support fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship, planned giving, as well as unit initiatives and events
- Assist with the production of annual appeals (print and digital) to drive engagement and giving
- Serve as the marketing lead for additional units including but not limited to the Montco Cultural Center, the Hospitality Institute and the Mix Room at Montco on strategic marketing and communication projects. Develop working relationships with internal stakeholders by managing and executing marketing and communications objectives, collecting related feedback and metrics to inform future strategies, and managing the development of all tactics and collateral to promote unit initiatives
- Support College strategic marketing plans for unit initiatives and assist with the development and creation and/or programming as needed for print and digital collateral, direct mail marketing, and all College-owned channels such as the Montco website, Axis TV digital screens, email communications, MS Dynamics CRM, social media, Mont gazette and Montco Radio
- Attend College fundraising and unit-related events and functions (some evenings and weekends) as needed
- Other duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Education/Training/Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field is required
- Minimum 3-5 years of related experience is required. Background in higher education, fundraising, or nonprofit environments is preferred
Specialized Knowledge & Skills
- Work within project management software and office productivity tools
- Create and manage timelines, prioritize deliverables and execute against tight deadlines
- Maintain a high standard of quality and accuracy for all deliverables, strong editing and proofreading skills required
- Team player with professional demeanor and proven ability to delegate when needed
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience in design programs (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once, with a sense for what should be prioritized
- Ability to lead assigned projects
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion, maintaining privacy and integrity
- Proven attention to detail required
- Experience with fundraising/development marketing
- CMS and CRM experience is a plus
