Position Title: Marketing Manager
Reports to by Function: Chief Mission Advancement Officer
Supervises: Graphic Designer, Possibly Student Workers
Primary function: Following the Archabbey and Seminary strategic and operational plan, develop, collaborate, and produce content for Saint Vincent Archabbey and Seminary digital communications including our web presence, digital marketing, and social media.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of arts degree in English, communications, or related field. Digital Marketing Certificate, preferred.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing with an emphasis on website development/integration, and/or digital communications .
Essential duties:
Understand, adhere to, and amplify the mission of the Archabbey and Seminaryβs and develop the Archabbey and Seminaryβs digital marketing strategy.
Design, build, and maintain the digital presence as administrator of the Seminary and the Archabbey web presence through content creation and integration, growing and engaging our social media audience, SEO strategies, PPC strategies, video campaigns, email techniques, website design and optimization, and other digital strategies to drive web-traffic or accomplish specific goals such as enrollment, admissions, and event promotion.
Conduct initial and ongoing information architecture analysis of the existing digital content, establish baseline analytics and compile findings into routine reporting to upper-level stakeholders.
Provide technical expertise, integration/improvement strategies, and strategic recommendations for the use of a variety of digital applications (email, social media, website design, etc.) used for donations, student recruitment, events, and other activities.
Create unique landing pages for stand-alone campaigns, update website and web activities.
Construct analytic applications to be used for informing the strategic goals and actionable conclusions, responsible for legal and best practices concerning consent, data collection, and privacy.
Secure domain names and keep all registrations, upgrades, licenses, and compliances up to date.
Must be able to work as part of a content team of writers, photographers, videographers, IT professionals, faculty, students, and executive staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Special challenges and environment: Must have excellent writing and editing skills, graphic arts and design background, photography ability, be familiar with design and editing technologies and equipment, possible travel to or coordination with all domestic and foreign apostolates, and must have interpersonal skills to work with multiple constituencies.
