POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking to hire a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead our company’s Marketing Team.

The Marketing Manager monitors and supervises the day-to-day activities of the Marketing Team and is also required to be a key contributor in critical brand management functions such as design, messaging, and communications. The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing strategies, overseeing implementation, and quantifying ROI metrics related to all aspects and initiatives of the Marketing Team. The Marketing Manager is required to understand the roles of their direct reports to serve as back-up for those positions on an as-needed basis (i.e., marketing material production, video production, social media, etc.). This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

This position must maintain a consistent and open dialogue with the Chief Operating Officer regarding functional efficiencies as well as updates on strategic projects and team performance. This individual should have a passion for brand management, design, and effective communications as well as cultivating that passion in others. Working in a fast-paced, growing firm, impeccable organizational skills are extremely valuable. Successful individuals in this position exhibit versatile communication skills for a wide range of audiences, including financial advisors, advisor office staff, direct reports, peers, management, and the executive team.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effective, consistent brand management across the spectrum of marketing mediums and channels to facilitate further growth of the firm
  • Design, implementation, and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Work in tandem with the firm’s Advisor Relations Team to produce content clearly articulating our value proposition to a nationwide network of financial advisors

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Creative mind with a keen eye for design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, PhotoShop, InDesign, Premiere, Express, etc.)
  • Experience in multi-channel marketing, including written, video, website, and social media
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy; highly organized and efficient
  • A high degree of professionalism and a strong work ethic
  • Excellent people skills and an aptitude to coach and train direct reports
  • Project management, emphasizing an ability to prioritize tasks
  • Outstanding follow-through, seeing tasks from start to finish
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving, as well as collaborating in a team environment
