The Thompson Organization is seeking a creative, organized, and energetic full-time Marketing Coordinator to support marketing, social media, communications, events, and community partnerships across multiple automotive brands. This is a hands-on position for someone who can juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, think creatively, and take a project from an initial idea through execution and reporting. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, social media savvy, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.
In-person position/ Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm
Responsibilities
Develop and manage social media content tailored to each brand's audience, with a focus on awareness, engagement, and follower growth. Monitor performance and provide regular reporting and recommendations.
Manage social media calendars and coordinate content across platforms. Identify opportunities for timely, creative content.
Write and edit content for websites, press releases, employee newsletters, social media, and marketing materials.
Plan and coordinate dealership, community, and promotional events from concept through execution, including logistics, vendors, staffing. Prepare follow-up reporting to measure participation, engagement, leads, and overall success.
Manage event timelines, vendors, logistics, promotional materials, staffing, signage, and other details.
Coordinate community sponsorships and partnerships, including communications, deliverables, event participation, and tracking results.
Be present at events when needed to oversee details, troubleshoot issues, and help create a positive guest experience.
Collaborate with dealership teams, vendors, media partners, and community organizations.
Qualifications
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
Creative thinker with strong follow-through and problem-solving skills.
Social media experience with an understanding of engagement and audience growth.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
Event planning and/or marketing experience preferred.
Proactive self-starter and team player with a positive attitude and high energy.
Automotive marketing experience is a plus.
