JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for day-to-day marketing operations to assist the team and overall goals to meet project deadlines, support donations & sponsorships, the creation of Gift Baskets, and more. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports strategic goals and objectives to achieve the overall mission of NexTier Bank.
  • Supports expectations of Company Culture & Community in the best interest of Customers as a representative of the Bank.
  • Reviews, proofreads, and approves marketing materials, according to the Bank’s Advertising Policy, to maintain a high level of consistency, effectiveness, and accuracy across the brand.
  • Coordinates and assembles campaign materials and packages for branch teams.
  • Coordinates and approves received sponsorships, completes submission to Marketing donation system up to $1,000 and reviews all submitted requests for accuracy. Sponsorship opportunities over $1,000 will be submitted for approval. Communicates approved donations with organizations.
  • Plans, schedules, and maintains bank-related projects and special events.
  • Coordinates, orders, and keeps track of all bank promotional item inventory.
  • Manages approved direct mail campaigns. Including mail merge or sharing approved communications with the printer. Coordinates with our teams or the fulfillment house for larger mailings.
  • Coordinates marketing invoices received for payment from vendors and submits to Accounts Payable.
  • Creates Gift Baskets on behalf of NexTier Bank, as requested by team members or organizations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Attend training classes, seminars, and workshops to enhance skills further

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • No supervisory responsibilities.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.  
  • Project & Event Coordination – Solid organizational and project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks, projects, and events on time.
  • Marketing – Working knowledge of marketing principles. Ability to proofread, edit, and ensure brand consistency and compliance across communications.
  • English Language – Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Computer & Technical Skills – Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Banking & Financial Awareness – General knowledge of financial products, services, and banking, including invoice processing.
  • Bank Secrecy Act – In the performance of all the respective tasks and duties, employee will maintain knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act regulations and all other regulatory, security and bank policies and procedures.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years’ work experience.

 

PHYSICAL/WORK CONDITIONS:    

In the performance of respective tasks and duties, the employee is expected to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
