Job Summary: 

Elite Sportswear is seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Coordinator to support and execute various brand marketing initiatives. This role will contribute to digital marketing efforts through social media management, written content for SMS and email campaigns, website content, and other marketing channels, while maintaining brand consistency across Elite Sportswear’s family of brands. The ideal candidate will also be open to supporting, coordinating, and executing trade shows, photo shoots, and cross-functional collaborative tasks. In addition to a creative mind and digital expertise, we are seeking someone who takes direction and feedback well, understands the importance of brand storytelling, and is passionate about sports marketing.  The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and be self-motivated.  

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media Marketing, New Media, or relevant field.
  • 2+ years managing social media accounts for business or brand required
  • Additional Digital Marketing experience a plus but not required
  • Background in sports, not required

Responsibilities: 

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and produce social media content with Brand Marketing to connect with growing communities across all channels, and maintain multiple social  accounts
  • Provide copy for content across several digital marketing channels to ensure clear and consistent brand voice and messaging 
  • Produce error-free content that adheres to multiple brand style guidelines 
  • Report on key performance indicators across all social media platforms on a  weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis  
  • Monitor and react to Google Alerts, consumer feedback on social media and assist Customer Service team, as necessary  
  • Conduct  research to analyze competitive landscape, market trends, and customer  behavior  
  • Facilitate  tradeshow and consumer show planning, shipping, and set-up 
  • Attend and assist in coordination of photoshoots for Elite Sportswear’s family of  brands
  • Perform  additional marketing duties as needed 

Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with Marketing Team and cross-functional teams to brainstorm ideas, communicate brand and marketing initiatives, and assist in various tasks as necessary
  • Collaborate with other team member 
  • to understand project requirements and objectives. 
  • Welcome feedback, training, and suggestions from Senior level team members
  • Adhere to all deadlines and deliverables as assigned. 

Skills and Abilities: 

  • Strong  copywriting skills
  • Understanding  of social media content creation, scheduling, and willingness to explore      creative strategies; ability to shoot and edit video content, a plus 
  • Organizational  skills for scheduling and planning 
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing market trends and team needs
  • Must  be able to work independently and have a self-starting attitude

  • Manual dexterity for keyboarding

  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Occasional walking and standing
  • Ability to travel occasionally 
Salary Description
$22.73/hr
