Aquatech has an immediate need for a full-time Marketing Communications Specialist to work in our Canonsburg, PA office or remotely. The hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Marketing Communications Specialist will perform the duties described in the job description below and be considered an Exempt employee.
As a member of the Marketing Communication Team, you will play a vital role in assisting with the development and execution of Aquatech’s corporate marketing communications strategy. The ideal candidate is creative, exemplifies excellent written and verbal communication skills, and maintains a confident executive presence. They must be able to work independently and take the initiative to accomplish assigned tasks accurately and by established deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field of study from an accredited university or college
- Two (2) or more years of related marketing or communications experience in a similar role. Water and wastewater treatment or B2B marketing or communications experience is desired
Job Description:
- Support with the strategy development and execution of marketing communications plans
- Develop targeted brand, industry, product, and service messaging for Aquatech’s offering while maintaining brand consistency across all marketing channels
- Draft written communications materials for mass media, company website, or social media, including blogs, articles, project profiles, press releases, etc., that showcase customer success, partnerships, and our solutions
- Support the designing, updating, and managing of marketing collateral using Adobe, Figma, or other applicable design tools
- Elevate our website presence by optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization (SEO) and ensuring a seamless user experience
- Improve social media presence and sustain engaged audiences through implementing Aquatech’s social media and content marketing strategy
- Measure and report on website and social media behavior and the success of various lead-generation tactics, including webinars, whitepapers, and advertisements
- Plan, manage, and evaluate the organization’s presence at industry tradeshows and events (i.e., tradeshows, conferences, webinars, roundtables, forums, etc.)
- Oversee the selection and management of outside agencies or contractors who produce marketing materials and/or provide marketing support
Preferred Skills:
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle and prioritize projects across multiple projects.
- Demonstrated experience with social media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook
- Design experience and working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, or other design software
- Working knowledge of HubSpot’s customer relationship management (CRM) and website content management system (CMS) platforms.
- Strong understanding of G Suite products, primarily Google Analytics and Google Ads
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Microsoft Teams
