About the Position

The Marketing Communications Intern assists the Leadership team and Marketing department in the completion of departmental responsibilities, including administrative paperwork, restructuring of resident/employee engagement platform, creating the monthly resident newsletter, and other duties as assigned.

**This internship is scheduled to end in August with the possibility of extension.**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support our internal engagement platform, Uniguest, including staff training, updating and managing resident content, and creating an employee module for more effective company communication.
  • Develop resident and team member communications including memos, letters, presentations, and articles.
  • Works in coordination with Resident Services on the resident newsletter ensuring accurate, timely information is included.
  • Organizing and maintaining data, databases, and spreadsheets, including assisting the Marketing team with CRM data input.
  • Under guidance from the Marketing Communications Coordinator, develop basic design projects using Canva, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop programs.
  • Assist with the creation of content for Londonderry Village's social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Assist with taking photos of the campus and events for our internal photo library.
  • Participate in meetings to identify and execute the marketing needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or Graphic Design.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity and experience using design programs such as Canva, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
