Bancroft Construction is looking for a full-time Marketing & Business Development Specialist.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of the construction industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify and pursue profitable project opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal & Preconstruction Support
- Lead the development of proposals and presentations while collaborating with estimating, project management, and executive teams.
- Manage proposal schedules, compliance requirements, and submission deadlines.
- Assist in preparing qualification packages and client presentations.
- Participate in client and design partner meetings.
Business Development & Sales
- Track and analyze upcoming project opportunities, RFPs, RFQs, and bid opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM systems.
- Provide regular reporting on sales pipeline, forecasting, and business development activity.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and professional organizations.
Client Relationship Management
- Assist in the development and oversight of a structured client engagement and retention program.
- Partner with leadership and project teams to implement touchpoint strategies throughout the client lifecycle.
- Manage client feedback initiatives, including surveys and post-project evaluations.
Market Research & Strategy
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and emerging industry trends.
- Assist in targeted outreach strategies to expand the company’s client base.
- Support leadership in developing strategic plans for market expansion.
Qualifications

Experience
- 3–7 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations within the construction or real estate development industry.
- Familiarity with construction project delivery methods (CMAR, Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build).
- Experience working with RFP/RFQ processes.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
