Position Overview
Scott Enterprises is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Assistant / Content Coordinator to support the marketing efforts of our diverse portfolio of properties, including Splash Lagoon Indoor Water Park Resort, Peek’n Peak Resort, Roma’s, Oliver’s Beer Garden, Oliver’s Rooftop, our hotels, Applebee’s, Quaker Steak & Lube, IHOP, and Scott Enterprises corporate initiatives. This role is responsible for producing engaging, on-brand content across multiple platforms while also supporting the administrative and operational needs of the Marketing Department.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Coordination
● Capture, edit, and produce high-quality photos and videos (including reels and short-form video) for use on social media, websites, and digital marketing campaigns.
● Stay on top of content trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to keep our marketing fresh and competitive.
● Develop creative concepts and propose new ideas for campaigns, promotions, and content series.
● Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform content strategy.
● Assist in scheduling, posting, and tracking content performance across social media channels.
Marketing Support
● Coordinate with the marketing department, property managers, and event teams to gather content, information, and promotional needs.
● Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and special events.
● Maintain photo and video libraries for all brands.
● Support brand consistency across all marketing materials.
Administrative & Operational Support
● Provide administrative assistance to the marketing department, including scheduling, data entry, filing, and bookkeeping support.
● Run errands such as delivering promotional materials, gathering props, and assisting with event setups.
● Manage small marketing projects and ensure deadlines are met.
● Assist with reporting, tracking marketing expenses, and maintaining vendor relationships.
Qualifications
● 1–3 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or a related field (internships or equivalent experience considered).
● Strong skills in photography, videography, and editing (experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools preferred).
● Excellent writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
● Proficient in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) and their analytics tools.
● Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
● Creative thinker with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required (local travel between properties).
