The Marketing and Sales Lead will drive marketing and sales strategies to support all outreach of Morphy Auctions by leveraging insights and analytics and provide strategic direction. The ideal sales leader is an experienced strategic marketer, with strong analytical skills and boldness to bring forward creative and disruptive thinking through breakthrough marketing and sales strategies and ideas. Have 10+ years of experience and take a proactive approach to accelerate building brand awareness and credibility. As a leader in the auction industry, we are seeking someone with experience in product position and marketing, brand management, sales and experience in ecommerce and physical retail. The team is comprised of talented and capable doers with years of industry experience. This is an onsite role based in Denver, PA.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to understand the auction business including company vision, short-term and long-term goals, operations, technology, sales, gaps and opportunities budgeting and the P&L.
- Manage client sales leads and VIP customers in partnership with our sales managers, coordinators and President/Owner.
- Develop targeted strategies and processes to improve our direct relationships and communication with our top-level customers through Sugar/CRM and other digital technology platforms.
- Provide strategic direction, quarterly and monthly priorities and objectives to company President/Owner and leadership team.
- Provide guidance and insight on the digital strategy operations for the websites, digital media, CRM applications and client relationships.
- Manage auction catalog production, mailings and print advertising.
- Leverage consumer and market insights to tap into new opportunities and deepen existing markets.
- Using analytics and customer segmentation – develop and measure marketing funnels to enhance engagement, click through, SEO and conversion.
- Support the implementation of an omnichannel strategy by seeking solutions and drivers in the high-end collectibles market, digital and mobile actions to achieve seamless customer experience and increased customer loyalty.
- Develop cohesive online promotions and communication for all our collectible divisions (firearms, advertising, automobilia & petroliana, etc.)
- Collaborate with division managers to channel planning with clear understanding of what will engage our consumer and drive channel performance.
- Monitor and report on KPIs and the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data to inform future marketing strategies.
- Help build a world-class marketing team, a best-in-brand, scalable business processes, and strong cross-company relationships.
- Attending trade shows and company owned shows as a representative of Morphy Auctions.
- All other responsibilities as may be assigned by the executive leaders.

- Experience 10+ years in sales, product marketing, or brand management.
- Strong analytic skills and the ability to drive data-driven recommendations and decision-making.
- Experience creating integrated sales and marketing plans to support product launch and expansion efforts.
- Executive level communication skills.
- Ability to confidently analyze and measure results and report performance to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to influence others to get things done in a timely fashion; balance multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Performance Marketing, CPC, SEO, SEM, Merchandising, Loyalty, CLTV, CAC/CRC, and Branding preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills required.
- Salesforce, Sugar or CRM experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
- Salesforce experience preferred.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 base compensation plus profit sharing / performance bonuses
