Marketing and Public Relations Intern

We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing and Public Relations Intern to join our team. This role is perfect for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, and strategic communication within the nonprofit sector. You will work closely with our Marketing and PR team to enhance our online presence, engage our audience, and promote our mental health initiatives.

• Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) Support website updates and optimize content for SEO. Assist in monitoring and reporting on social media and website analytics
• Collaborate on email marketing campaigns, including newsletters and announcements
• Design graphics and promotional materials using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
• Assist in drafting press releases, blog posts, and other communication materials
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative marketing strategies
• Attend meetings that provide opportunities for community outreach and referral networking
• Share information gathered through marketing efforts to improve internal processes or services using open communication and social learning.
• Proactively identify and participate in opportunities for marketing services or promotional activities in the community
