The Marketing and Media Director leads all marketing, communication and media efforts for the organization. The role is responsible for shaping our public voice, increasing awareness of our mission and driving engagement across digital, print and media platforms. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, comfortable leading campaigns while also executing day-to-day marketing initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Serving as brand steward, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all channels
- Manage social media, oversee content for website, campaigns and print materials
- Plan and promote campaigns for programs, events, fundraising and advocacy efforts
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets
- Prepare leadership for interviews, public appearances and media opportunity
- Track and analyze marketing performance
- Report on campaign results Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field
- 5+ years' experience in marketing, communications, or media with non-profit experience preferred
- Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills
- Experience with digital marketing tools, social media platforms and content management systems
- Passion for our mission Preferred Skills:
- Experience with fundraising and donor communications
- Graphic design, video or multimedia experience
