This position is required to be in the office one day a week (Philadelphia, PA) and travel for in-person events throughout the year.
OVERVIEW:
Glenmede hosts in-person and virtual events throughout the year of varying levels of complexity. The Marketing and Events Officer is responsible for executing these events and conference sponsorships, with the potential to oversee marketing projects and campaigns across the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Event Strategy.
Event Planning. Create and manage all event/conference project plans; including but not limited to event logistics - venue, catering, AV requirements, contract negotiations, external speakers, transportation, etc. - budget planning and T&E reimbursement, as well as the necessary materials (presentations, collateral, booths, giveaways, etc.).
Event Experience. Routinely assess activities to determine new ideas that will broaden opportunities through special events and distinguish Glenmede events from our competitors. This also includes implementation of industry best practices to improve and streamline processes.
Marketing Support. Assist on a variety of marketing materials including, but not limited to, email campaigns, promotional and educational collateral, website updates, advertising, and presentations for prospects and existing clients.
Firm Building. Active engagement and accountability in department-specific and firm-wide initiatives in order to expand capabilities, create solutions to unmet business needs, improve user experience, or develop more efficient processes. Ability and willingness to contribute to the advancement of team and business. Other duties as required by the position.
