This role plays an integral part in Division of Student Affairs department services. It works in collaboration with the rest of our team to implement marketing strategies, create and post content on the Student Affairs social media channels, create newsletters, and manage other aspects of our marketing efforts. The role is pivotal in building strong partnerships with department clients, ensuring that marketing requests are implemented effectively and that students are meaningfully connected to events, programs, services, and campus resources.

A marketing and communications coordinator on our team: Coordinates marketing strategies and functions for University brands, services, and product lines working across multiple markets/channels while adhering to strict branding and style guidelines; Employs writing and graphic design skills to target specific audiences, including social media, print, website copy, advertising, and any other promotional and/or writing collateral. Uses analytics and metrics to measure and improve results; Writes or adapts copy for catalogs, brochures, flyers, book jackets, email campaigns, promotions, and other marketing materials; Researches and collects data for market deliverables; assists in market development strategies.

This position is primarily sedentary in nature with the occasional need to leave the office to film social media content or attend meetings in other areas of campus.
