Rhema Christian School is seeking a mission driven and creative professional to serve as the
part-time Marketing and Communications Coordinator. This year round position helps develop
and implement the school’s communications and digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is
a self-driven storyteller and collaborator who enjoys leading marketing campaigns, managing
digital channels, and supporting community outreach in a faith based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Help develop and implement a consistent marketing and communications plan to support
enrollment and community visibility.
Maintain and update the school website and social media channels with timely on-brand
content.
Draft and edit school announcements, newsletters, and digital campaigns.
Create and source imagery, copy, and layouts for print and digital materials that reflect
the school’s mission.
Support communications and marketing of school events, student performances, and
seasonal celebrations.
Partner with staff, volunteers, and community stakeholders to drive attendance and
engagement.
Capture digital content at school-day and after-school events to support internal
communications and external marketing, including post-event highlights and promotional
materials.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred.
Experience in marketing, communications, or a related role in a school, nonprofit, small
business, or church setting.
Proven ability to write clear, engaging content and manage social media or other digital
platforms.
Comfortable learning new digital tools and standard office software.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
on a limited schedule.
Collaborative mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a heart for Christian education.
Work Schedule
20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
This is a hybrid position that requires regular on-site presence, with the option for remote
work when duties permit.
Occasional evening and weekend hours for scheduled school events.
Year Round position, including summer availability to support ongoing planning,
communication needs, and year round enrollment efforts.
Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114 Clearances are required
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
