The Marketing Analyst plays a critical role in helping Kish make informed, data-driven decisions. This position is responsible for conducting quantitative and qualitative research to evaluate marketing performance, client experience, products and services, market potential, and competitive activity. Insights generated through this role directly inform marketing strategy, client experience initiatives, and organizational decision-making. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, analytically strong, and comfortable translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.


Essential Functions


Client Experience & Stakeholder Support

  • Deliver high standards of service and responsiveness to meet internal and external client needs
  • Support the management and growth of the client experience measurement program, including surveys and feedback tools
  • Analyze client experience data in partnership with the Client Experience Director and external research partners to identify opportunities for improvement

Market Research & Insights

  • Support and strengthen Kish’s centralized market research function by:
    • Establishing and applying sound research methodologies
    • Designing, conducting, evaluating, and presenting research on current and prospective customers, competitors, physical locations, products, and services
    • Anticipating market trends and providing actionable insights to internal stakeholders

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Identify trends and patterns in complex data sets to support brand positioning, marketing effectiveness, product development, and client experience improvements
  • Collaborate closely with internal data teams to develop and enhance dashboards and reporting tools related to marketing, client, product, and third-party data
  • Create clear graphs, reports, dashboards, and presentations tailored to a variety of audiences

Marketing Performance & Campaign Analysis

  • Evaluate media post-buy performance and make recommendations to optimize paid and non-paid advertising strategies
  • Assess the effectiveness of marketing and advertising programs using research-based analysis
  • Support direct marketing initiatives through target market analysis, list development, and campaign evaluation

Qualifications


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience executing a wide range of marketing research methods, including quantitative and qualitative research, competitive intelligence, and market or industry trend analysis (preferred)
  • Financial institution experience preferred but not required

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Strong skills in data mining techniques and experience working with large or complex databases
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI or other business intelligence platforms (a plus)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, survey platforms, statistical analysis tools, mapping software, and market research databases

Communication & Professional Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear, compelling, and understandable manner
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Inquisitive, growth-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail

Physical Demands

  • Primarily office-based, sedentary work with moderate standing, walking, reaching, bending, and stooping
  • Occasional lifting of 10–20 pounds; less than 10 pounds routinely
