The Technology & Product Communications team delivers business-critical and business-as-usual communications to ensure that all Technology & Product employees and key stakeholders understand and engage in achieving our company-wide and TPX goals. We are seeking a Manager of Communications to join the Technology & Product Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong writer and communicator who is energized by technology, storytelling and change. This individual will support internal communications for employee-facing IT and Cybersecurity initiatives, internal and external storytelling and executive communications, and operational logistics for the Technology & Product Communications team. Core Responsibilities
In support of IT and Cybersecurity initiatives:
In support of Technology & Product storytelling and executive communications:
Crafts internal and external communications that reflect the voice and vision of Technology & Product executives, including emails, talking points, presentations, and intranet content.
In support of Technology & Product Communications team operations:
Supports operational activities such as email distribution management and content publishing.
Tracks and reports on metrics to improve communications effectiveness.
Collaborates with teammates across the Technology & Product Communications team to support campaigns and events.
In general, across functions:
Keeps communications fresh, creative, regularly exploring new formats and channels to reach employees.
Measures communication effectiveness and applies insights to continuously improve.
Consistently exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent; communications, journalism, or related field preferred.
Generally requires 5+ years of related internal communications experience. Some external communications experience a plus.
Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, compelling messages.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Comfort with technical topics such as cybersecurity, IT, digital transformation or engineering, and a curiosity to learn more.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint and content publishing tools; experience with metrics dashboards a plus.
Affinity for technology and a passion for helping employees navigate change.
