Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven E-commerce Marketing Manager with background in the life sciences field to join our marketing team at Rockland Immunochemicals Inc., a leading manufacturer of antibodies and supporting reagents. This individual will take full ownership of Rockland’s website, ensuring it aligns with marketing objectives, drives business performance, and provides a seamless user experience. You will be responsible for the website’s overall strategy, content, SEO, performance, and continuous optimization—working cross-functionally to ensure the site supports both customer needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Website Strategy & Management: Own the website’s overall strategy and performance, ensuring it meets business goals and enhances customer engagement.
· Content Creation & Optimization: Lead content development, ensuring it’s scientifically accurate and aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, and customer needs.
· SEO & Performance Monitoring: Implement SEO strategies and use tools like SEMrush, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager to track website performance and drive organic traffic.
· Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Service and Technical Support teams to identify and resolve issues, improving the overall online customer experience.
· CMS Management: Manage and update website content using Episerver, ensuring it’s optimized for both search engines and users.
· Product Data Enrichment: Collaborate with the Project Data Manager to enhance product data on the website, ensuring it’s accurate, complete, and aligned with marketing efforts.
· Lead Generation & Conversion Optimization: Optimize the website for lead generation and conversions by refining landing pages, forms, and calls-to-action.
Qualifications:
Education:
· Bachelor's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field is required. A background in life sciences is essential for understanding the company’s products and translating complex scientific concepts into accessible web content.
Experience:
· 3-5 years of experience in website management with a focus on strategy, SEO, and content optimization. Experience working in the biotech or life sciences industry is a plus, but not required.
Skills & Knowledge:
· Proven experience in website strategy, content development, and performance optimization.
· Strong working knowledge of SEMrush, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager for SEO and performance tracking.
· Experience with content management systems (e.g., Episerver, WordPress, Drupal, etc.) is required. Familiarity with Episerver is a plus but not a requirement.
· Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks..
· Expertise in SEO best practices and driving organic search traffic.
· Strong understanding of web analytics and the ability to analyze data to drive decisions.
· Excellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
Language Skills (a plus):
· Proficiency in German is highly desirable to facilitate collaboration with our German-based marketing team.
