Junior Marketing Coordinator - Wayne, PA

Bala’s Marketing team is growing and we are looking to add a Junior Marketing Coordinator who will focus on creating proposals. This role is on-site at our Wayne PA office and supports marketing across all 5 offices.

Creation of contract-winning Request for Proposal (RFP) responses is a critical function of any engineering firm’s marketing approach and business development initiatives. The coordinator will possess a hawk-eye for details, excellent copy-editing skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects on a deadline. In this position you will learn from marketing veterans and collaborate directly with project managers at all levels, across multiple disciplines. This role plays a vital role in developing winning proposals for a diverse range of projects across our global markets.  A curiosity about how buildings work is a plus, and you will contribute to projects that transform skylines. AEC industry experience is a plus - willingness to learn and achieve success is key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the development and production of proposal responses.
• Organize and maintain all marketing files for RFPs, qualifications, marketing packages, resumes and project profiles.
• Become proficient at CRM data maintenance in Hubspot for deal, company and contact tracking. Training will be provided.
• Help develop marketing graphics and presentations as needed.

Primary Duties:

• Review incoming RFPs to analyze requirements and ensure that responses meet the detailed requirements of the solicitation.
• Work with technical staff to deliver accurate, detailed responses according to deadline requirements.
• Coordinate resume development and updates for existing teams.
• Create and update Project Experience sheets.
• Develop new project profiles and usher through approval processes with project teams.
• Follow-up with project teams on win/loss status post-submission.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in marketing, communications, business administration[JK1] , library sciences or equivalent experience.
• 0-3 years experience (recent graduates welcome to apply )
• Strong writing, editing, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment 
• Motivated, self-starter
• Exemplary knowledge of grammar, spelling and composition.
• Highly organized with great attention to detail.
• Can work independently and enjoy working in a team environment, initiates innovation and contributes to building a strong marketing team.
• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Expertise in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• A/E/C industry experience is a plus
