JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager is responsible for executing Excab’s core marketing rhythm and supporting the company’s brand presence across all channels. This role manages the company website and social media platforms, oversees tradeshow planning and execution, maintains brand standards, develops and publishes content, and produces marketing collateral to support sales and company initiatives. The Marketing Associate ensures consistent, high-quality communication that aligns with Excab’s values, long-term goals, and brand vision.

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Maintain and update the company website, ensuring accurate product listings, clear messaging, and consistent user experience. 
  • Manage social media and email marketing platforms, including content creation, posting cadence, engagement, and performance tracking. 
  • Analyze and report on marketing campaign effectiveness using database resources. Use results to provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute tradeshow logistics, including booth design, collateral, shipping, and post-show follow-up. 
  • Own Excab’s branding, ensuring consistency across all digital and physical materials. 
  • Develop, write, and manage content across web, social, print, and internal channels. 
  • Produce marketing collaterals such as brochures, flyers, sell sheets, product guides, and digital assets. 
  • Support product launches, campaigns, and sales initiatives with timely, relevant marketing materials. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and ensure brand alignment across departments.
  • Effectively communicate with manufacturer partners on marketing projects through regular conference calls, phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings. 
  • Track key metrics, provide insights, and recommend improvements to increase marketing effectiveness. 
  • Assist with photography, videography, and asset organization as needed.
  • Maintain product image database and image library. Requires working with manufacturer representatives and/or outside resources to obtain images as well as using in-house photography equipment and image editing tools.
Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills, including proven copywriting ability. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to analyze and present marketing results.
  • Experience with website management (CMS), social media tools, and digital marketing practices. 
  • Professional graphic design experience with proficiency in Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign is required. Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and as a team member on assigned projects. 
  • Experience with Email Marketing Platforms (Constant Contact or similar) is required. 
  • Highly proficient computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and SharePoint (asset database). 
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/ social media etc.) and market research methods. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail. 
  • Experience reporting to a senior management team. 
  • Ability to always maintain an upbeat and positive attitude. 
  • Strong work ethic with ability to adapt to change. 
  • Ability to travel to trade shows as required. 
  • Must adhere to all safety and housekeeping policies and guidelines.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 4–7 years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B, Manufacturing or distribution environment.
