This is a hybrid work assignment, allowing mostly work from home but will require candidate to be within a commutable distance or short train ride into Philadelphia (University City area) when needed to support on-site corporate events and convenings.

The TruMerit Events Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the organization’s engagement and presence at all in-person and virtual events, including but not limited to: trade shows, conferences, summits, press events, convenings, and webinars.


The ideal candidate will possess a strong background and credentials in event planning and execution, exceptional organizational skills, an understanding of the healthcare industry, and the ability to manage multi-stakeholder coordination for events that advance the organization’s awareness, thought leadership, and business development goals.





Requirements

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the executive leadership team (ELT) and other strategic partners to co-create and coordinate events that maximize brand exposure, foster industry relationships, and drive customer engagement on a global scale.
  • Build and execute a robust international events roadmap, leveraging our international brand to expand our footprint across globally relevant events.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the organization’s on-site booth/exhibit experience, including working with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to drive an immersive, brand-forward experience in our booth. 
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for events and provide regular reports on event success, ROI, and attendee feedback for both domestic and international events.
  • Create, manage and share a centralized events calendar to be referenced by board members, executive leadership team, and staff.
  • Work with MarCom team members to drive messaging, branding, promotions, and campaigns; work with executive leadership to coordinate on-site presence (speaking, meetings, etc.)

   

Qualifications:


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field

     

Experience, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to manage and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities
  • Ability to use data to inform investment and strategy
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Certification(s) in tradeshow or events planning (CMP, CSEP, CGMP, DES, CTSM) or
  • 7 + years in event management, including significant exposure to trade shows and conventions, preferably for a nonprofit organization tied to the healthcare sector.

Salary Description
