Accountability: Chief Development Officer (CDO)
Status: Full Time; Non-Exempt
Purpose: To lead events and assist in the areas of fundraising, publications, and marketing.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with others.
- Team player focused on the overall success of the organization
- Self-starter who is highly motivated with excellent organizational, planning and time management skills, including demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Demonstrated competence with a variety of software programs including Microsoft Office and Jubilee’s donor management software
- Able to communicate well verbally and in written form
- Willing to adhere to Jubilee’s Mission Statement, Core Values, Statement of Faith, Position Statements, and Employee Code of Conduct

Duties:
- Assist the CDO in writing and distributing appeal letters, event communications, and newsletters.
- Lead the planning and execution of events with the CDO and events committee. Events to include the fundraising dinner, volunteer appreciation dinner, golf tournament, staff/board dinner, CO appreciation, campaign events, and other special events.
- Attend community group meetings as requested by CDO.
- Oversee design, structure, and implementation of internal storytelling initiative.
- Plan and execute remote events.
- Provide content for and write chaplain newsletters.
- Assist with special fundraising projects, donor cultivation, and establishing and maintaining church relationships.
- Assist CDO with Capital Campaign.
- Assist the CDO with various projects as requested.
- Be part of development staff meetings and team building.
- Other duties as assigned.
