Account Executive – Enterprise Sales
Location: Greater Philadelphia Area (Hybrid, 2-3 days in-office)
The Opportunity:
One of our clients is looking for a high-performing Account Executive (AE) to drive new business in their enterprise market segment (500+ employees). This is a net new business role focused on selling B2B marketing services to CMOs and marketing leaders who need to scale their teams efficiently.
If you are an experienced enterprise sales professional who thrives in value-based selling, understands marketing, and knows how to speak to a CMO’s pain points, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
· Drive net new MRR by landing and expanding enterprise accounts.
· Sell B2B marketing-as-a-service solutions to CMOs and marketing leaders.
· Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, with a focus on outbound sales (50-60% of deals are sales-driven).
· Execute a value-based selling approach, helping buyers articulate business impact.
· Manage complex enterprise sales cycles, including quick staff augmentation deals (~1-month cycle) and full marketing org transformations (3-5+ month cycles).
· Work closely with Account Managers (AMs) to ensure long-term success and growth within accounts.
Who You Are:
· Enterprise sales expert – 5+ years in enterprise sales, preferably in B2B services, agency sales, or marketing tech/services.
· CMO-focused seller – You understand marketing challenges and how to sell into the C-suite.
· Proven closer – You have a track record of exceeding $400K+ MRR quotas.
· Hunter mentality – You can generate your own leads, build pipeline, and drive proactive sales.
· Strategic deal-maker – Experience with complex, high-value sales cycles and a consultative selling approach.
· Hybrid in Philly – You’re located within 30 minutes of our office and can be onsite 2-3 days per week.
Bonus Points:
· Experience selling to Private Equity-backed companies.
· Background in marketing agency, staff augmentation, or enterprise software sales.
· Understanding of AI-driven marketing solutions
