Position Summary

The Director of Product is responsible for defining, delivering, and optimizing digital experiences that strengthen the franchisee and family journeys and drive measurable enrollment growth across the Goddard System. This role owns and advances Lead-to-Enrollment (L2E) capabilities for franchisees, ensuring they have high-performing tools to manage inquiries, track leads, understand conversion metrics, and optimize their enrollment pipeline. The Director oversees CRM and Franchisee Sales Enablement applications, performance analytics, and funnel optimization capabilities. The role includes responsibility for feature roadmapping, value-based prioritization, partnering with internal technical teams to deliver on time and in scope, and ensuring measurable business outcomes across the system.

Responsibilities

  • Own all Lead to Enrollment (L2E) digital product capabilities, ensuring franchisees and families experience intuitive, high performing tools that make it easy to inquire, schedule, communicate, and progress through the enrollment journey
  • Be a key contributor to re-platforming the CRM functionality and systems to enable further conversion on the Lead to Enrollment use cases
  • Define, enhance, and manage CRM and Franchisee Sales Enablement products, ensuring workflows, automation, integrations, and reporting support both franchisee needs and a frictionless, responsive family experience from first inquiry to enrollment decision
  • Lead user research with franchisees and prospective families, translating insights into product strategy and enhancements
  • Develop and maintain a value-based product roadmap aligned with enterprise goals, franchisee needs, and enrollment performance
  • Build conversion funnel measurement tools and dashboards using platforms such as FullStory, Hotjar, or Quantum Metric
  • Analyze funnel performance and drive data backed optimization in partnership with Marketing, Operations, and Franchisees
  • Partner closely with Engineering, IT, and vendors to ensure delivery is on time, in scope, technically sound, and aligned with system architecture
  • Lead and mentor a product team to ensure strong execution, prioritization, and cross-functional alignment
  • Support business owners with business cases, cost/benefit analyses, and prioritization recommendations
  • Drive Agile product development, including backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative delivery
  • Partner with Operations to support change management, training, and adoption of new tools and technologies across the franchise system
  • Serve as a cross functional leader across Marketing, Operations, IT, and Analytics to ensure shared alignment on product goals and decisions
  • Define and track KPIs and success metrics for all product initiatives, ensuring performance measurement and continuous improvement

 

Experience and Competencies

Minimum Requirements

Experience

  • At least 7 years of product management experience, including required experience in a franchisor environment with deep involvement in defining funnel stages, conversion metrics, and optimization
  • At least 10 years of digital technology enablement experience, spanning operations, system optimization, and platform enhancement
  • Proven ownership of Lead to Enrollment (L2E) or similar conversion focused digital capabilities (e.g. Loyalty programs) within a distributed or multi location model.
  • Strong background working in high performing franchise systems, supporting both enterprise and field level needs
  • Experience in leading product and delivery resources

Technical & Platform Expertise

  • Significant experience with CRM platforms and franchisee facing sales enablement tools, including workflow, automation, and reporting features
  • Hands on use of behavioral and funnel analytics platforms such as FullStory, Hotjar, or Quantum Metric to diagnose issues and improve performance
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, sprint rituals, backlog management, and cross functional delivery

Analytics & Optimization

  • Advanced analytical capabilities, including Excel modeling, funnel analysis, cohort evaluation, and data storytelling for executive audiences
  • Strong ability to build business cases, support prioritization decisions, and guide business owners in evaluating value, impact, and effort
  • 4+ years Experience running optimization testing (A/B, multivariate, experience experiments) that leads to measurable business improvements

Leadership, Communication & Collaboration

  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and senior level presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with internal engineering/IT teams to deliver high quality solutions on time and in scope
  • Strong cross functional leadership skills, with the ability to influence and align Marketing, Operations, IT, Franchisee stakeholders, and executive leaders

Highly Desired

  • Prior experience building or maturing a Product Practice (e.g., Agile ceremonies, measurement frameworks, intake processes, cross‑functional operating models)
  • Experience managing or partnering with Marketing Operations teams supporting automation, data governance, and campaign execution Demonstrated success driving franchisee adoption of new tools and processes through training, behavioral change strategies, and field partnership.
  • Hands‑on experience with enterprise‑grade MarTech ecosystems (e.g.,CMS platforms, email/loyalty platforms, modern CRM stacks)
  • Experience with Early Childhood Education Franchises
