If you’re a hands-on sales leader who loves winning new accounts, growing existing ones, and coaching others to do the same, we’d like to meet you.

What You’ll Do

Lead group, catering, and events

  • Lead all group sales, convention services, and catering revenue initiatives.
  • Lead Event Sales and Event Planning teams to deliver exceptional experiences from booking through program execution.
  • Ensure seamless transitions between Sales, Convention Services, and Hotel Operations teams.
  • Evaluate incoming event opportunities to ensure alignment with revenue objectives and operational capabilities.
  • Drive catering and event revenue growth through creative solutions and strategic selling.
  • Build long-term, value-based customer relationships that generate repeat business and brand loyalty.
  • Partner closely with hotel operations leaders to ensure successful execution of meetings, conferences, weddings, and special events.
  • Partner with Marketing resources to develop and execute integrated sales and marketing strategies.

Lead the strategy

  • Set the vision and sales plan for the hotel, including budgets, forecasts, and business development strategies that maximize revenue and profit.
  • Partner with Finance to make sure the sales plan meets or exceeds revenue and profitability goals.
  • Use Lighthouse and TravelClick data to track the competitive set, monitor demand and pricing trends, and evaluate the effectiveness of sales programs.

Lead the team

  • Build, coach, and empower a high-performing sales team. Set clear goals, model the behavior you expect, and support their growth at every stage.
  • Create a culture where talented, driven people want to join, stay, and advance.

Win and grow business

  • Generate new business through prospecting, lead qualification, and relationship building, with a focus on group, corporate, and staffing accounts and strategic partners.
  • Manage account pursuit and RFP responses through MarRFP, and maintain accurate leads, accounts, and group business in CI/TY and Amaze.
  • Grow existing accounts to their full potential by regularly engaging clients, uncovering new needs, and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Build relationships with executives at major and prospective client organizations. Understand their culture, decision makers, competitive position, and travel and event needs.

Represent the hotel

  • Attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows as needed, and deliver post-event reports and analysis.
  • Strengthen the hotel’s visibility and market share through community, industry, and internal relationships.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Sheraton, promoting the brand’s values, standards, and commitment to exceptional guest experiences while building strong relationships with clients and community partners.
  • Lead Sheraton Gatherings initiatives by developing and executing engaging events and experiences that foster meaningful connections, strengthen client relationships, and drive group business opportunities.
