Job Description: Responsible for coordinating communications and public relations in the Franklin Regional School District. Additionally, the candidate will oversee the development and daily operations for the Franklin Regional Panther Foundation. This successful candidate is expected to have demonstrated proven success with public relations, foundation leadership and building partner relationships. Also, candidates are expected to have a working knowledge of FRSD operations, Westmoreland County, and a strong ability to address questions from students, community members, vendors and other stakeholders.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred Must possess a thorough understanding of event planning, marketing, and public relations Five to seven years’ experience with progressively responsible fundraising and/or alumni relations management desired, preferably in an education setting Proven track record of soliciting and closing corporate/foundation grants, gifts and sponsorships in the six and seven figure range Ability to use publishing software and basic website design is preferred
