Purpose
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on IT Business Partner to lead the technology roadmap for our Sales and Marketing functions. This Director-level role will serve as the primary liaison between IT and the Go-To-Market (GTM) teams, ensuring that our systems—particularly Salesforce.com and customer-facing platforms—effectively support business operations across the lead-to-cash lifecycle. The role will also support special projects across related functions such as Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Commercial Operations.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leadership, aligning technology initiatives with business goals and growth strategies
- com Ownership: Lead the configuration, optimization, and roadmap for Salesforce CRM, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing integrations
- Customer Portal Development: Oversee the design and implementation of custom customer service portals and digital engagement platforms
- Project Leadership: Drive end-to-end delivery of GTM-related systems and projects, including vendor management, budgeting, and change management
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance pipeline visibility, campaign effectiveness, and customer experience
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, Product, and IT to ensure seamless system integration and adoption
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure systems meet data privacy, security, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Innovation & Scalability: Evaluate and implement new technologies, Salesforce AppExchange solutions, and automation tools to support business growth
- Special Projects: Support and lead occasional initiatives across SG&A functions
Qualifications/Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IT or Business Systems roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
- Proven experience as an IT Business Partner or Director supporting Sales, Marketing, or Customer Success functions
- Hands-on Salesforce.com expertise is required, including experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and integrations
- Experience with customer portal development and digital engagement platforms
- Strong understanding of GTM processes, CRM data models, and campaign/reporting workflows
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and vendor relationships
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred)
- This position requires the ability to travel, as needed, to support multi-site collaboration, project delivery, and stakeholder engagement
- Background in SaaS, B2B sales environments, or customer-centric digital transformation
