Position Overview:
The Director of International Marketing is accountable for developing and executing strategic international marketing initiatives (outside the United States). This includes creating and implementing international marketing campaigns for brand development, market awareness, demand generation, positioning, education, sales enablement, channel management, program/product launches, and customer impact.
This position leads a marketing team to deliver all internal and external efforts that ensure targeted growth of the Alliance Resuscitation portfolio, with focus on the RQI portfolio of programs, transitioning the business from Instructor-Led Training to digital.
The Director of International Marketing maintains and grows relationships with strategic partners, including the AHA, Laerdal Medical, and other global organizations where partnerships exist. This role is responsible and accountable for developing and implementing initiatives that result in increased sales and retention, customer satisfaction, and maximizing the impact of the organization’s mission by helping save more lives.
Accountabilities:
- Alliance Resuscitation portfolio: Managing the marketing & communication initiatives for the Alliance Resuscitation portfolio in all international regions (outside the United States).
- Trusted Partner: Establishes and maintains highly effective relationships with global Partners, sales channels, industry leaders, and market influencers.
- Brand Equity, Image, and Partner Management: Ensures brand equity, corporate image, and compliance with the Alliance Resuscitation portfolio of programs on behalf of the AHA, Laerdal Medical, & other partner organizations.
- Leadership & Team Management: Leadership and effective coordination of marketing professionals to deliver all outcomes required for achieving organizational goals with strategic partnerships and international campaigns.
- Program and Service Line Marketing: Develops content and assets in partnership with the US marketing & program management teams, for creating and delivering marketing resources for positioning and promotion.
- International Marketing Strategies: In collaboration with Partners, creates international marketing campaigns, demand generation, marketing plans, and continuous sales enablement resulting in business/mission success.
- Strategic Partnerships: Primarily accountable for developing marketing initiatives collaborating with the AHA, Laerdal Medical, and external organizations with strategic partnerships.
- International Events: Develops and implements strategies with internal and external stakeholders for international events, trade shows, unique events, and other channel management activities.
- Customer Communities: Manages and executes a fully integrated marketing strategy that includes customer community engagement, loyalty programs, and lighthouse organizations.
- Voice of the Customer: Develops and manages the messaging and marketing assets to amplify the success of our global customers, including business and mission impact.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree required – e.g., business or marketing.
- 30% travel, domestic & international, depending on business needs.
- Minimum of ten years of experience in product management, project management, marketing, or related areas.
- Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns.
- Demonstratable experience leading teams, channels, or partners.
- Demonstratable experience with Pardot, Salesforce, and affiliated marketing technologies.
- Demonstratable marketing experience across/with all Partner organizations: RQIP, Laerdal, AHA.
The estimated yearly rate for this position is $120,000-125,000. Please note that this does not include any other compensation or benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, level of education attained, and/or professional certifications, years of relevant experience, special skills, etc.
