Job Description
This role is responsible for the development of creative assets; from concepting ecommerce shoots and brand lookbooks, to the execution of creative content across all brand channels including the deployment of brand photography and video as well as all graphic design within Creative Services (digital, physical, brand). These designed assets must support the brand vision and strategies that align with our annual and seasonal plans and lead to multi-year growth in PBT (Profit-Before-Tax). Performance in this position is measured by achieving targets for total company operating income and profit-before-tax over a multi-year period and reducing expenses.
A day in the life…
Functional leadership of Creative Content Asset Development and functional leadership of Creative Services and Design for Website, Email, Advertising, Blog, Loyalty, Social Media, Promotions, Retail, Wholesale and Brand Support
Lead and develop a team of creatives, delivering brand content across digital, social, e-Comm, and in-store signage/branding
Translate brand vision into practical creative strategy for graphics team, meet rigorous timelines and pivot as needed based on the changing dynamics of the business
Assure daily team priorities are set and executed
Own creative workflow and communication: resourcing, deadlines, reviews, and stakeholder alignment
Build visual journeys and presentation decks (support concepting, mood brands, storytelling consistency) for internal/external approvals
Produce and elevate eCommerce and lookbook creative with a strong eye for market, trend, and brand relevance and on-site execution
Identify new, compelling ways for the brand to present digitally and across channels
Drive cross-functional execution in partnership with Content Planning, Merchandising, Art Direction, Graphic Design, Styling, and the Senior Director of Brand & Creative Development
Lead graphic design and AI development for modern retail
Support execution of creative campaigns
Assure day to day marketing is brand first, modern, cohesive and meets the consumer where she/he is
Build and maintain strong relationships across the company
Functional leadership of Creative Content Development
Consistently execute the rollout for a refreshed Visual Identity and Packaging refreshes that continue our brand modernization strategy.
Develop a strong brand right Creative Storyline and Strategy for Content Development, refreshing annually and seasonally.
Capture imagery and video that evokes the brand mission, aligns with modern nostalgia and drives brand equities while communicating clearly the 4-pillar strategies of Product Design and Merchandising.
Use metrics-based evaluation to identify how content is performing and why and apply to future content development strategies and tactics.
Manage budget, production and development of all imagery, incorporating additional resources as necessary both internally and externally (e.g. Fashion Design on PDP, Retouching, Consultants, etc.). Imagery will often include both photography and video needs. Cover 4 key buckets (1. Primary seasonal campaigns; 2. Supporting secondary campaigns and key product needs (e.g. home, key initiatives); 3. Brand Marketing/Advertising & PR campaigns (e.g. upper funnel, collaborations); 4. Ecommerce PDP.)
Build current content deployed within 2-4 weeks, develop strategies for 3-month future execution, and align with vision for 6-12 month planning to drive more efficient cross promotion of brand storylines to product development.
Functional leadership of Creative Services
Manage all elements of Design for the Website, Email Marketing, Advertising, Blog, Loyalty, social media, Promotions and Brand Support.
Manage physical and digital design needs for Retail and Wholesale distribution channels.
Work cross functionally to execute in alignment with strategies for reaching customers both existing and new.

This position is a member of the Operating Committee and the Senior Leadership Team.
Qualifications for the Position
A four-year college degree is , preferably with a major/minor within graphic design, marketing, communications, business or a related subject is helpful.
10-15 years of experience, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
Sufficient fashion sense and knowledge of the customer to understand the vision of the Lilly Pulitzer® lifestyle and to develop content strategies that grow the business profitably.
Strong creative skills are necessary.

This position is classified as full-time salaried; it is exempt and is not eligible for overtime. This position is eligible for standard company benefits.
This position is to maintain a structured hybrid work schedule based out of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. This hybrid schedule, which includes work done in the King of Prussia Office as well as your Home Office, will be determined by your supervisor.
The position requires some domestic travel.
Given the seasonality of the business, this position may require flexible, additional working hours during peak periods.
