The Opportunity

Under the direction of the Email Operations Manager, Retention Marketing, the  Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the execution of email campaigns and mobile messages that utilize best practices to drive continuous improvement of the program. The Specialist will execute with excellence by utilizing impactful marketing planning and collaboration with e-commerce and creative partners while ensuring email and mobile marketing production schedules remain on target.

Your Impact

  • Acts as the project manager for hundreds of email campaigns as assigned by Manager from concept to deployment to performance analysis.
  • Strategically determines production schedule, assigns key dates and directs a team of creative designers and copywriters with intent and focus of each campaign.
  • Merchandises and secures relevant, successful product for all campaigns by working with e-commerce partners and utilizing Adobe Analytics and Tableau, as well as historic email results/data.
  • Responsible for all product information (including keying pricing and special offer information) and imagery. Partners with eCommerce to determine key sales points, ensure alignment to event/programming messaging and ensure images are available in accordance to email timeline.
  • Set up and execution within the Bluecore Email Service Provider.
  • Review email campaign results as provided by Salesforce, Adobe  Analytics and Tableau.
  • Utilize learnings in daily decision making for campaigns and to obtain high level understanding across all email and mobile programs.
  • Partners with the Campaign Management team to obtain the appropriate customer list to launch via email system (Salesforce & Bluecore). Monitor to confirm 100% completion.
  • Responsible for reviewing test versions of campaigns before launch by utilizing close attention to detail to check erroneous spelling, linking, promotional errors.

What You Bring   

  • Education: BA in marketing, communications, or related field; or equivalent experience required
  • Experience: 2-4 years professional experience, within digital or email marketing, or e-commerce
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, self-management and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work and collaborate with others both internally and externally
  • Ability to problem solve, providing alternate solutions to issues and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
