What You Will Do

The Digital Health Account Executive is responsible for driving new business growth through proactive prospecting, relationship building, and closing sales for the company’s digital health and lab testing solutions. This role will work in close partnership with the Director of Digital Health to execute sales strategies, manage active pipelines, and convert qualified opportunities into long-term client relationships.

This position is highly tactical and execution-focused, with an emphasis on outbound sales, account management, and hands-on deal progression. The Account Executive will support market expansion by engaging healthcare providers, digital health companies, telehealth companies, and other strategic partners, while ensuring a seamless customer experience from initial contact through contract execution.

Sales Execution & Deal Management:

  • Actively prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities for digital health and lab testing solutions.
  • Manage assigned accounts and opportunities throughout the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to contract close to specimens sent.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Digital Health on target accounts, deal strategy, and pipeline prioritization.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets and activity metrics.

Prospecting & Business Development:

  • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, networking, and industry events to generate new leads.
  • Identify and engage healthcare providers, digital health organizations, and related stakeholders.
  • Support expansion within existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Leverage Zoominfo target lists for outreach and pipeline development.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact during the sales process, ensuring timely follow-up and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Operations to support smooth onboarding and client handoff post-sale.

Collaboration & Internal Alignment:

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, IT, and customer success to support sales execution.
  • Provide market feedback, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to the Director of Digital Health and the leadership team.
  • Support pilot programs, demos, and client presentations as needed.

CRM, Reporting & Sales Operations:

  • Utilize HubSpot CRM to manage leads, track activities, and maintain accurate pipeline data.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all sales activities and client communications.
  • Support forecasting and reporting efforts by providing updates on deal status and pipeline health.

You are a strategic hunter who thrives at the intersection of healthcare and innovation. You sell solutions that modernize how patients access diagnostics. With a proven ability to navigate the fast-paced digital health and telehealth landscapes, you excel at identifying key stakeholders, building high-trust relationships, and managing complex deal cycles from first touch to final contract. You are highly organized, data-driven, and possess the grit required to maintain a high-volume outbound cadence while simultaneously providing a "white-glove" experience for your accounts.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of healthcare sales experience, specifically within digital health, HealthTech, or lab testing services.
  • Strong hunter mentality with demonstrated ability to prospect and close new business.
  • Experience managing multiple deals simultaneously in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Working knowledge of digital health, healthcare services, or lab testing solutions.
  • Ability to communicate value propositions clearly to healthcare stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident in presenting solutions and navigating objections.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and follow-through.
  • Ability to execute sales plans while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Skilled in using CRMs (HubSpot preferred) and digital sales enablement tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or Marketing preferred.

Benefits

Base Salary of $75,000 – $110,000 (commensurate with experience) with a target Year 1 OTE of $150,000 – $175,000.
