Digital Design Intern

Job Summary

As a Digital Design Intern, you will support the Director of Design in creating digital assets that bring our brand to life across web, social, email, and other digital platforms. You will gain hands-on experience designing marketing materials, social media content, point-of-sale assets, and other branded collateral. This internship is an exciting opportunity for a creative individual looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced, real-world environment.

This position will work onsite at our new headquarters in center city Philadelphia.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the ideation and execution of animated videos and social media posts.
• Design compelling email blasts to support online sales.
• Retouch and edit raw images as needed.
• Update and maintain website content, ensuring all images and product information remain current.
• Help ideate and execute on animated videos and GIFs
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure brand consistency across all materials.
• Manage multiple design projects with attention to deadlines and brand guideline

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Experience creating and supporting digital assets, including 3D renderings and animations
• Working knowledge of animation tools, specifically Adobe After Effects
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Understanding of color theory, composition, and typography with a strict adherence to brand guidelines.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with branding and packaging design.
• Ability to take creative direction and execute with attention to detail.
• Prior internship or freelance experience in graphic design is a plus.
• Military experience is a plus.

Compensation

• $15-$17 USD per hour
