DescriptionAccess Services is seeking to hire an enthusiastic and curious Digital AI Adoption Intern to join our Quality and Innovation team in Fort Washington, PA for the Summer and or Fall 2026 semesters.
This hybrid internship will require an intern to be in-person at least once a week at the Access Services office in either Fort Washington, Plymouth Meeting, or Bethlehem.
Interning with the Quality and Innovation team at Access Services offers interns exposure to a wide range of opportunities including work in data, digital, AI, programs, quality, compliance, technical, and theoretical experience. This internship involves support for the entire organization, meaning the opportunity to work with many people who work in a variety of departments/programs.
Internship Hours:
- Available internship hours are business hours Monday- Friday. Within these hours, this internship has a flexible schedule based on the intern’s needs and availability, ranging from 5-32 hours/week. The specific internship hours will be determined between the supervisor and intern prior to the internship start date in accordance with availability/project timeline.
- Project-based work may be done during the intern’s own time out of the office.
RequirementsQualifications of Digital AI Adoption Intern:
- The intern must be currently pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master's degree.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
- Possesses creativity and enthusiasm in problem solving and approach to work
- Possesses curiosity about the possibilities of applying AI solutions to the work of human services
- Ability to work independently, and take direction
- Systems knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, Power Business Intelligence (BI), Power Query, SFTP connections, and SQL servers.
- Basic knowledge of data analytics and/or visualization.
- Interest in producing quality data to be integrated into program solutions.
- Passion for excellence in the adoption of AI tools.
Key Responsibilities of Digital AI Adoption Intern:
The intern will partake in a wide range of projects including dashboard work, system work and documentation.
Projects will include:
- Work on builds for Dashboards – either build in Excel and/or (preferably) in BI
- Support with refreshes of Dashboards - troubleshooting and fixing issues
- Documentation of changes with processes and compile training materials
- Provide 1:1 training or troubleshooting with dashboards and/or BI Modules
- Monitoring/managing Data Request ticket board
Intern tasks will include:
- Observe Implementations, Screenings, Change Management in the Digital and Human Services space (this can be determined in partnership with intern by their area of study and interest)
- Participation in Data Team - multidisciplinary work
- Participation in BI Workshop (hands-on building w BI Guys);
- Participation in Leadership and Staff Meetings, as applicable, to be determined with supervisor.
Required Clearances, to be completed before first day of internship, including:
* Detailed instructions and guidance regarding the clearance process will be provided directly by Human Resources upon selection. *
Essential Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Work in a standard office environment.
- Utilize desktop computer equipment daily.
- Able to lift or move items associated with sedentary work and light work (exert up to 20 lbs.)
