POSITION SUMMARY

The VP Marketing Analytics & Performance leads the analytical foundation that powers Newrez’s growth engine. This role is responsible for developing the marketing measurement framework, providing key insights to inform model development and optimization, conducting performance analysis, creating robust test framework and delivering insights that optimize acquisition, conversion, and ROI. The VP oversees analytics teams and partners closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Technology and Data leadership to guide strategic decision making.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Analytics Framework & Performance Measurement

  • Ensure a robust analytics framework to measure acquisition performance and ROI. 

  • Leverage key insights, attribution analysis and predictive analytics to inform the development and refinement of segmentation, targeting, and modeling strategies.

  • Translate data into digestible formats with actionable strategies for continuous improvement of acquisition programs. 

  • Establish test and learn methodologies and performance standards for all marketing initiatives.

  • Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and lead a high-performing team to ensure best-in-class customer and prospect segmentation, targeting, and testing.

  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, Technology and Data teams to align initiatives. 

  • Present analytics and performance findings to senior leadership, identifying marketing optimization and investment opportunities.

  • Define priorities, manage analytics roadmaps, and mentor team members.

  • Ensure analytical rigor, quality control, and consistency across all outputs.

  • Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.

  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • 12+ years of marketing analytics experience; 3–5+ years in a leadership role.

  • Strong experience with performance analytics, data attribution and data science/modeling. 

  • Familiarity with modern data stacks, BI tools, and data science workflows.

  • Proven ability to present and communicate complex analyses to senior leadership.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Expertise in statistical modeling, data visualization, and marketing measurement.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and analytics platforms.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights. 

  • High learning agility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

  • Strong verbal communication skills; strong writing and composition abilities. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization.

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills; consultative and collaborative work style. 

  • High learning agility with the ability to learn and integrate business variables and learn new systems and platforms.

  • Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong project management capability.

  • Self-directed and comfortable working with ambiguity and uncertainty. 

  • High degree of professional maturity, integrity, ability to maintain confidential data and information.

  • High degree of business acumen; strong technical aptitude. 

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills..

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Working on-site at assigned office location.

  • Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.

  • Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.

  • Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.

  • Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.

  • Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.

  • Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.
