Digital Sales Account Executive


Position Summary

Estrella MediaCo is looking for a highly motivated, forward-thinking digital sales account executive to be located in Chicago, IL This position is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic advertising partnerships with digital advertising agencies and advertisers on a national scale. Successful candidates must be motivated, self-starters able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Identify and solicit new digital business through prospecting and cold calling; builds and maintains a full pipeline of sales prospects
  • Service and grow relationships in existing client base
  • Identify digital client/agency needs and develop persuasive proposals to meet needs and opportunities
  • Deliver creative and effective sales presentations
  • Proactively develop new business by using all our advertising and marketing assets
  • Close business and oversee the execution and optimizations of the marketing campaign
  • Achieve sales objectives and goals
  • Continuously build your knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, and innovations
  • Collaborate with linear sales team on integrated sales opportunities 
  • Knowledge in GAM, DFA, IAS, ComScore, Matrix and Operative

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years’ sales experience
  • Experience in Digital Media/Advertising Sales with proven success is preferable
  • Experience in selling digital platforms, such as OTT/CTV, OLV, audio streaming and social 
  • Strong knowledge base of programmatic sales
  • Understanding of market dynamics including demographics
  • Excellent communication skills both with external clients as well as internal stakeholders
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and organized
  • Motivated self-starter and quick learner
  • Collaborative, responsive and accountable
